Harvey Park Modern was invited this week by Ken Soule to tour and photograph his latest rehab in Harvey Park, a Cliff May RM 3212 on Osceola, before completing the sale with some new neighbors.
Harvey Park’s own Dave Slater and team did a great job bringing this one back to life. Most notably, the south and west facing floor-to-ceiling windows had been removed by a previous owner and replaced with sills - the west facing windows were restored to bring back the outdoor-indoor connection.
The RM 3212 is a particularly desirable model for its master-suite wing, and larger living area. The kitchen in this house has been opened up to make for great-room style living that was not in the original design.…

Fresh on the heels of our open-house, neighbors Graeme and Megan opened their Cliff May home to Apartment Therapy, who delight us with wonderful photos and a fun interview. Welcome, World, to Harvey Park!

Harvey Park residents gave a warm welcome to the 100 people that attended Cliff Dwellings: A Tour of Harvey Park’s Cliff May & MCM Homes last Sunday, as modernistas from the Denver Modernism Show and around Denver visited the three lovely private homes that were opened for the event (as well as two great realtor open houses). We know we had a great time, and our visitors seemed to be enjoying themselves as well! We hope we will see you all again soon! Special thanks goes to the Denver Modernism Show for helping us sell tickets to this great event, and helping to get out the word about Harvey Park!…

Greetings, and welcome to Harvey Park! This southwest Denver neighborhood is one of the city's best-kept secrets in affordable, quality modern houses. Home to the only Cliff May Ranches in Colorado, Harvey Park has a rich variety of mid-century modern homes from small starter homes to large custom homes on two private lakes.
For visitors, this website will help you become acquainted with our neighborhood, and perhaps even encourage you to drive on over and see what it's all about.
For residents, this website will become a resource, and a way we can come together and talk about the neighborhood, share ideas, get inspired, and even brag a little bit about the great work we've done. I encourage you to become a member of the site, share your stories and photos, and become part of the greater community.

Painting the exterior of a brick house can be a big controversy - once it is done, there is no going back. In HP, with our plethora of brick homes it is not a common sight, but I wonder if it might become more so in the coming years. What are your…Continue

My husband and I, along with our 2 year old daughter, are looking at buying a home in the Harvey Park area. We owned a 1951 ranch in Phoenix previously and love 50's modern homes. But as we drive through the area, it is hard to get a sense of the…Continue
