The recent article in The Denver Post’s YourHub is not the first time the paper has visited our rancho paradise. In 2006, The Denver Post’s Kat Valentine stopped by to chat with Mike & Casey Daboll at their Cliff May home. They chat about vintage style and why they love living in one of Harvey Park’s treasured homes.

This is probably the saddest photo you might ever see of a Cliff May home. I took it on the streets of Harvey Park back in 2006. At first I took it because it was such a shocking thing to see in our otherwise quiet neighborhood, but as I look back at it, it also serves as a reminder of what both the reality and perception of the modern homes in Harvey Park were at that time.

Greetings, and welcome to Harvey Park! This southwest Denver neighborhood is one of the city's best-kept secrets in affordable, quality modern houses. Home to the only Cliff May Ranches in Colorado, Harvey Park has a rich variety of mid-century modern homes from small starter homes to large custom homes on two private lakes.
For visitors, this website will help you become acquainted with our neighborhood, and perhaps even encourage you to drive on over and see what it's all about.
For residents, this website will become a resource, and a way we can come together and talk about the neighborhood, share ideas, get inspired, and even brag a little bit about the great work we've done. I encourage you to become a member of the site, share your stories and photos, and become part of the greater community.

Painting the exterior of a brick house can be a big controversy - once it is done, there is no going back. In HP, with our plethora of brick homes it is not a common sight, but I wonder if it might become more so in the coming years. What are your…Continue

My husband and I, along with our 2 year old daughter, are looking at buying a home in the Harvey Park area. We owned a 1951 ranch in Phoenix previously and love 50's modern homes. But as we drive through the area, it is hard to get a sense of the…Continue
